Masjid Extension & Renovation Appeal

We're almost there!

Alhamdulillah, through your generous donations, we have successfully acquired 124 Frodingham Road. To complete the renovation of this property and the current Masjid, we require £350,000. We are appealing to 350 generous individuals to pledge £1000 per share. (Shares can be split between family and friends)

The Scunthorpe Central Mosque stands proudly in the heart of Scunthorpe, a diverse town with a rich cultural heritage. As the largest Muslim community in North Lincolnshire, we've grown from humble beginnings to become a cornerstone of spiritual and community life.

1981

Establishment

Founded as Esha-tul Quran Islamia Madrassah (EQIM) and Madani Mosque in a converted terraced house

1987

First Extension

First extension programme with a rear extension to the existing property

2001

Second Extension

Second extension programme through purchasing the neighbouring property

2011

Major Refurbishment

Extensive refurbishment including new prayer halls, study area, office, kitchen, and purpose-built dome and minarets
