The mosque actively promotes and encourages greater learning and understanding of Islam through its regular congregation and Islamic teaching classes for the Muslim children.
These classes are only for children of age groups 5 years to 16 years.
We have highly dedicated, experienced & qualified teachers who are trained in first aid and are all CRB checked. We teach the children The Holy Quran with Tajweed rules, translation of selected Surahs & Hadith of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Children memorise selected Surahs by heart (Hifz). We also teach them the history & hard work of the early Muslim Scholars.
There are talks (Bayaans) on the teachings of Islam every Jummah (Friday) and also after Asr and Isha salaah every day.
The Scunthorpe Central Mosque provides an Islamic Nikaah Service.
Our facilities for marriage include the Islamic ceremony according to the Sharia. The Imaam can provide advice and recommendations in all aspects of marriage.
The Scunthorpe Central Mosque can provide advice and guidance with regards to funeral matters. Please contact us if you need further details.
